Morgan was given to me as a gift from my mum. I had a phone call from a close friend who asked if she could stable her horse at my yard for a while. My mum agreed to this and on the 14th of Febuary 2006 along came Morgan.

He was a stunning 16.2hh Thoroughbred, he had a shiney chestnut coat and was the most beautiful animal i had ever seen. I was asked to look after him as his owner was unwell. I agreed to do so and that was when i had him on loan. I had never ridden him before but my aunty and mum had been to see him a couple of times before and knew he would be the perfect horse for me.

The first couple of weeks we left him to settle in and get to know his new stable, he seemed very laid back and such a loving horse. He would be very shy with me but i knew it was because i was new to him.

I started to ride him and as i had lost my confidence i had my aunty helping me to get to know him. We had fun just potting around the streets and getting to know eachother.

Within five weeks of having him i was asked if i would like to buy him, how could i refuse, he was a stunning animal with alot of love to give. I persuaded my parents to buy him for the small price of £600, he was worth a million times that and he knew it.

More to come........
